Showroom Assistant

Portsche's Fine Jewelry seeks a Showroom Assistant to become an integral part of our creative team. We're looking for a highly detail-oriented person responsible for assisting our designers with all the details of running the showroom. The ideal candidate is a person who enjoys multi-tasking and fresh espresso, who can become an expert at keeping our team & showroom sharp and organized. The ideal candidate would enjoy working with the public and being a part of a team of creative people.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers and identify their needs
  • Answer phone calls, texts, and emails
  • Handle quality control repairs, special orders, and custom pieces of jewelry
  • Set up and put away showroom displays
  • Assist designers in all things administrative
  • Filing, organizing, and monitoring inventory and paperwork

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related field
  • Friendly with an ability to build a rapport with customers
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail & clerical data
  • Comfortable handling items and transactions of high-value
  • Ability to learn new computer software in a timely manner

Schedule:

  • 5 days per week (one week-day off) 9am to 6pm
  • One 3 day weekend off per month
  • Saturdays required
  • No evenings
  • Closed Sundays
